This event, on 23 September, will introduce our Personalisation Made in Bradford working groups, to help Voluntary and Community Sector organisations in Bradford to take practical steps forward in developing services for older people.

The event will take place at Cafe West with arrivals from 9.00am for a 9.30am start with lunch provided at 1.00pm.

The working groups are a key part of the Bradford VCS Personalisation Project, which we launched at the Thornbury Centre in July.  You can find out more about the project here.

At the event we will give you more detail about the four areas that we will be focusing on over the next few months:

The market for Personal Assistants

Development of paid-for services

Support planning and brokerage

Being socially enterprising

Working groups will meet once every six weeks between October and March, to explore these opportunities in more detail.  Members of each working group will also be able to access further support from us - tailored to what you need in order to progress further in developing services in line with the Personalisation agenda.

On the day you will be able to sign up to the working group (or groups) that are of interest to your organisation.
